The Ad Partnerships team is responsible for advancing the premium ad experience and future growth of Disney Advertising Sales through (1) Establishing optimal partner terms, policies, and products and (2) prioritizing internal and partner initiatives that drive the biggest business impact.

The Sr. Manager, Ad Partnerships will play a key role in supporting the growth of Disney Advertising Sales revenue across brands and platforms. The Sr. Manager will work with external partners and internal partners across Disney Advertising Sales & Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution. This individual will play a key role in evaluating, prioritizing, and driving forward strategic opportunities across the Ad Products & Enablement team. Opportunties will range from bolstering data-driven targeting and automated/programmatic capabiliites to exploring new distribution partnerships & ad product innovation. The individual will report to the Director, Ad Partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & hone consistent framework & criteria to evaluate new opportunities (including internal investment & external partnerships)
  • Create executive-facing communications that clearly & succinctly lay out priorities (with justification), and progress vs. goals
  • Contribute to negotiations & management of ad sales strategic partnerships
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses, sizing potential opportunities/risks, in partnership with Revenue & Yield, Forecasting, and Finance

Basic Qualifications:

Experience
  • 7+ years experience in media in a strategy, consulting, or business development role (preferably with exposure to ad sales and/or technology)
  • Track record of collaboration, consensus-building and project management across functional areas and levels of seniority
  • Knowledge of and enthusiasm for emerging media and technology

  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Self-starter with curiosity, creativity and resourcefulness
