Job Summary: Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution's mission (DMED) is to delight consumers around the world with the entertainment and sports content they want most, with more choice, personalization, and convenience than ever before. DMED is responsible for The Walt Disney Company's direct-to-consumer businesses globally, including the ESPN+ sports streaming service, programmed in conjunction with ESPN; Disney+, the Disney-branded direct-to-consumer streaming service; global advertising sales and ad technology for all of Disney's media properties, including ABC, ESPN, Freeform, FX Networks, National Geographic and the Disney Channels; HotStar, the leading over-the-top streaming service in India; and the Company's majority ownership stake in Hulu. The Senior Systems Engineer is a full-time position at the Walt Disney Company's Woodlands Technical Facility (TWL) in Houston, Texas. The Senior Systems Engineer will report to the Manager, Design Engineering, in Burbank. The Engineer will be responsible for the design, vendor engagement and daily deployment schedule at TWL, supporting Disney's 24/7 linear broadcast networks and supporting workflows. Design Engineering is critical for persistent technical innovation in the linear and digital distribution of the linear networks, broadcast adjacent technologies and media workflows. Primary responsibilities include daily interaction with Design in Burbank, DMED Broadcast Operations and Media Engineering teams at TWL. The role requires highly focused attention to detail, meeting overall needs in design, with an eye for efficiencies and adhering to the DMED Engineering tech portfolio. Responsibilities:
