Job Summary:

The Walt Disney Company's Direct-to-Consumer and International segment (DTCI) is a global, multiplatform media, technology and distribution organization for high-quality content created by Disney's Studio Entertainment and Media Networks groups. DTCI includes Disney's international media operations and the Company's direct-to-consumer businesses globally, including the upcoming Disney-branded direct-to-consumer streaming service, the Company's ownership stake in Hulu, and the ESPN+ sports streaming service, programmed in partnership with ESPN. BAMTECH Media, developer of the ESPN+ and Disney-branded streaming platforms, oversees all consumer-facing digital technology and products across the Company as part of the Direct-to-Consumer and International segment.

This individual will work closely with Disney's Ad Sales Revenue and Yield Management teams supporting Digital Addressable Ad Sales across the media networks within The Walt Disney Company (ABC, Freeform, Disney Channels, FX and Nat Geo). They will also partner with the respective Programming/Content and Research teams to prepare strategic financial plans for key forecast periods (annual budget, long-range plan, and quarterly forecasts) for the Digital line of business. They will oversee recurring deliverables including Ad Sales Pacing, Rate/Volume analysis, and Forecast/Plan modeling related to Direct Sold, Automated, and Social revenue.

This role relies heavily on a key understanding and working knowledge of the department's Digital reporting systems. The ideal candidate will be able to easily navigate and clearly communicate between the ad sales organization and the financial organization. A strong analytical background to drive business insights and recommendations with quantifiable impact is needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a corporate finance / business analytics role. Ad Sales experience is a plus, not required.
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with information systems and/or strong ability to quickly learn new information systems (primarily Business Objects, Google Ad Manager, and Operative)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate clearly micro details into a broader summary for different levels of management
  • Advanced Excel abilities (Nested statements, pivot tables, charting, combining functions like Index, Match, Offset and Indirect)
  • Acute attention to detail and aptitude for troubleshooting data discrepancies
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Finance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field preferred - Physics, Math Economics, Business Administration
